<< Back ====== The soul ====== ===== Soul ranking ===== All players' souls can be ranked through their number of acquired soul points, this list can be found in the ¨Soul points¨ ranking page. ===== Legendary town ===== The town holding the survival record during a season will be shown as the legendary town. In order to obtain further information on town rankings: Classement des villes ===== Distant regions ===== When players reach 100 soul points, they **might** play together in the //Distant Regions//. The map is bigger than in a //Small Town//, and there are some other distinctive parameters. It is considered to be the ¨normal¨ game mode, without pre-built construction et with the full range of gameplay elements. Nevertheless, players will be able to go back to //Small Towns// at any given time, since the limitation has been removed on MyHordes. Players reaching 500 soul points can now choose to go in //Distant Region Towns//, //Small Towns// or //Hardcore Towns//, this third type is even more difficult to survive in. Back in the original game, only a player having unlocked ¨Hero¨ mode could choose which available town he would want to join from each type of game mode. Take into account that in MyHordes, if joining a town through a coalition, the whole coalition will be blocked from joining a //Distant Region// if one player has less than 100 soul points, back in the original game, this was not in place and was used as an exploit to have new players join more difficult towns. ===== Hardcore ===== Since update 2.7, hardcore towns are not displayed differently in a player's soul. ===== Day of death ===== In a town on day D, there are two distinct cases: **Non-devastated town** * if you die from **another death** than from the attack of the horde (//dead in your bed// works as well for watch duty and from in town cadavers), you will be considered as dead on day D-1. \\ **Devastated town** * if you die outside trying to camp, you will be considered as dead on day D, * if you die in town or outside without having tried to camp, you will be considered as dead on D-1 * if you die in another way than from the horde's attack (dehydration, infection...), you will be considered as dead on day D-1. ===== Consulting a soul ===== If you would like to peek at a player's experience, consulting their soul, you will have an idea of their past lives (without really knowing their game time). For this, go on Hordes.fr, then select ¨My soul¨, and in the bottom left corner, beneath your distinctions, you will be able to ¨Search a soul¨ when entering a player's nickname. If you wish to know how many hero days in total a player has played, you could add up their respective job distinctions to have an estimate.
