The Gazette

The gazette summarizes the previous day's events with a touch of humor, and not without denouncing (perhaps to be verified…) (rightly or wrongly) the actions of the players (real or romanticized). The mysterious “Crow”, who has his eye on everything, is the author of this little diary.

• We're all about making the most of everything. So yesterday, we decided to use the gallows to the full: 4 citizens were designated and hanged for this purpose.

//Player// would help himself to our bank without bothering anyone. Except perhaps //Player//, who would have said: "We'll settle this with a screwdriver".

• We narrowly saved Player who was about to hang himself in his house last night: “I didn't want to be alive to see this”. Wrong analysis it seems, as no zombie was able to enter our home last night.

• Another topic, a nice try for † Player who wanted to bet with me that we could survive without water. I won!

• Great sadness in town this morning with the mysterious disappearance of Poltron, our mascot. We suspect an inside job (some say a Gambler) but it's hard to know more at the moment… A little gossip for the road, the smell in town this morning was † Player snapping from a generalized infection. Could someone get the body out?

• It really smells like death in town. Fatal infections hit several citizens hard last night…. Don't we have anything in the bank to stop that?

• Apart from that, one of the 50 zombies who attacked last night was found in the well… I strongly advise you not to drink the water this morning, it's enough to give you an infection…

• A clarification on the mysterious message from † Player: “Don't expect me for dinner tonight”. This citizen has obviously decided to spend the night out…

• Small news item, a dead loss for the town (ah, ah, you'll understand). 4 citizens died of dehydration overnight… Ah ah ah…

• We all remember the good laugh we had the day Player christened the coypu that roamed the town “Croquette”… Ben Croquette was found spread out on a building site early this morning. A word of support for Player would be nice.

• The ferret that I-don't-know-who christened Furrycious was found this morning in two pieces. One was in the well. The strange taste of this morning's rations could have come from there…

• Also, if you were wondering what the risk was with an infection, you can have a look at the decomposed body of † Player who croaked last night in his bed.

• Please note: No deaths to report last night, so it looks like the community has (finally) figured out how to organize itself so as not to die out.

• Apart from that, there was blood all over our streets this morning. The blood of last night's victims. The horde has breached our walls. It promises to be a lot of fun in the days to come.

• A little anecdote: Player obviously dipped into the bank yesterday. It didn't go unnoticed by everyone, did it?

Indeed, the citizen here has been denounced in the gazette by the Crow for looting the bank… And he's not entirely wrong.
